When Perry Shum opened the doors of his IMAGE NY store, InBloom was right there along with him.
“We are the first Sneaker/Clothing consignment store located in Flushing, Queens. We do consignment for limited and hard to find sneakers. We carry many different types ranging from Nikes, Jordans, to Adidas, and Reeboks. Basically what we do here is help people sell or find limited and rare sneakers. Our consignment rate is 85/15, meaning the consignor will get 85% of the final sale. We strive to give the community great sneakers for a fair price.”
What part of InBloom helps you the most?
InBloom automatically assigns consignor and inventory numbers for me which makes it very easy. The inventory entry and label printing makes it very simple to label sneakers and clothing. We did our full inventory in 2 days. We also learned in and set everything up just as fast.
Reasons for choosing InBloom
We are big fans of Apple and we are currently using an Apple iMac 27 inch for our register and sales. We wanted to find a POS system that was easy to use and was compatible with Apple. We searched around and came across InBloom a POS software that does consignment. This was PERFECT for us since we are a sneaker/clothing consignment store. This made things very simple to use. We went with InBloom right away for this reason and the demo gave us a great preview how easy InBloom was to use.
Favorite InBloom features?
Since we opened we have consignors everyday. InBloom makes it easy to to add consignors add items quickly. InBloom also provides me with already made contracts where I can easily edit with my contract terms with FileMaker. Due to high traffic in my small store I need to help customers and consignors quick so InBloom was great.

The KinderGarden Boutique
The KinderGarden boutique, started with a mission to serve the families in the local community, and they are succeeding in many ways. At the heart of their operation is InBloom.
They are a children’s consignment shop with a very “boutique” feel, carrying only the highest quality used and new items – often enough that many first-time shoppers assume that all of their inventory is new. They also offer a unique service to their community in the form of the Consignment for Charity program. They’ve partnered with a number of charitable organizations within the city, and when customers bring in items to be consigned for those charities, the consigner’s proceeds from the sale go directly to the charitable organization. They, themselves, are not a nonprofit, but they are using InBloom and their shop to give back to the community in a real and tangible way.
